Amazon Mechanical Turk (MTurk) Requesters use qualifications to identify workers. We are working together with TurkerNation to help workers get more qualifications.  If you are not a member of TurkerNation you can join here.

There are two (2) ways to get a worker qualification.

• The first way is through taking a Qualification Test.
  Qualification Tests are always available by clicking on a link to the test. We update the list of qualification tests when they become available. Note: Clicking on “Request Qual” when there is no test will rarely accomplish anything.
  
  
• The second way is through a Qualification HIT.
  Most Qualification HITs are only available when a Requester has published a HIT.  This list of different types of Qualification HITs is important to understand; but, to get updated on the newest Qualification HITs as they become available, subscribe to the Quals Channel on TurkerNation Slack. 

Also, make sure that you take the Basic Amazon Demographic HITs.

You might also want to get the Adult Content Qual since it will open up many HITs to you, but be aware that NOT having it will protect you from seeing undesirable content and once you have it, you cannot get rid of it, as far as I know.

Note: In the past, we tracked Qualification HITs here, but we have removed them because they are only good when the HIT is active. Your best bet for finding Qual HITs is to watch a Forum dedicated to Turking, such as TurkerNation.
